What is "Laser Sculpture"?

"Laser Sculpture" requires an instinctive, artistic skills and three dimensions (3D) vision. It is a unique minimally invasive technique to deliver outstanding results of restoring the face and body contour of arcs and convexities and creating balance and beauty.

Dr. Kendrick Ng performs "Laser Sculpture" under local anesthesia while the patient is awake and comfortable but slightly sedated by taking oral medications. He uses a specialized mini canula (a straw like tool with the size of angle hair pasta) which is inserted through puncture incisions (1 mm in size) to extract unwanted fat, sculpt the body and tighten skin.

Before the procedure begins, Dr. Kendrick Ng uses his special mapping technique which is the road map of restoring the body contour of arcs and convexities and creating balance and beauty of the area to be treated. The procedure involves the numbing of the fat with a concoction of saline, lidocaine and epinephrine, called tumescence technique. This mix causes the fat tissue to swell up and constrict the blood vessels which facilitate the unwanted fat removal and minimize bleeding and bruising. Dr. Kendrick Ng performs his "Laser Sculpture" in a gentle criss-crossing method to minimize trauma and deliver precise results. At the end of the procedure Dr. Kendrick Ng passes a specialized canula to tighten the skin.

Generally, "Laser Sculpture" is not painful and because Dr. Kendrick Ng does not suture the entry incisions, the procedure does not leave any unsightly scars. "Laser Sculpture" has less downtime and fewer complications than with any other kind of liposuction technique. Most patients are back to normal activities within 48 hours.
